With Anne's transition from Director of NeuDICE to member (and Founder Emeritas), we need to consider the future of NeuDICE Cymru. We held a members meeting via Zoom on Friday 16th August to discover what members would like to do.
Here are the participants, sadly my Ed the Duck was hiding.

In the future we may need to secure a part time co-ordinator but until we do that Sharon Dale who is based near Weymouth has been working closely with Anne to ensure that the members in Wales continue to be supported although all of the directors have expressed their support and are looking forward to getting involved with events in Wales.
Our discussion was focused on suitable venues for meetups, accessibility of those venues, funding and promotion of NeuDICE to attract more members in Wales.
Some potential venues for meetups were suggested.
Here is a map showing locations offered and additional locations suggested. The image links to a Google map.

Alex is a specialist who runs sensory spaces at events and has offered to assess potential venues either in person or using video.
Liz has offered to see if she can provide some co-ordination via her virtual assistant.
Julie may be able to volunteer at the stand at Eisteddford 2025.
We discussed days and times when virtual accountability sessions would be useful and will continue to publicise sessions which are running.
We discussed funding and in addition to the co-ordinator we felt that equipment such as lighting and a tent we could pitch inside which would be available for making venues more suitable and the cost of stands and equipment for events such as the Eisteddford 2025 which is in Wrecsam/Wrexham https://eisteddfod.wales/festival/2025 would be things to apply for funding to cover.
Anne has offered to look for possible grants.
Now over to you
If you weren't able to make the session, or if you have additional ideas or comments please send them to helo @ neudice.org or hello @ neudice.org and mention Wales in the subject line.
